Why did I choose Grayce?

Grayce Marketing Manager, Victoria Birtles shares why she's committed to her Grayce journey.

I've been a member of Team Grayce for almost three years now, working in Marketing and helping to promote the Grayce service and Development Programme to clients and candidates.

I joined Grayce because of the energy and the people. In my first interview, I was really impressed by the Grayce Founder, Peter Busby and felt inspired to make a difference.

After successfully completing three months of contract work, I was delighted to secure a full-time position in the organisation and I’ve been here ever since, spreading the gospel of Grayce!

What matters to me?

The fact that I’m working in an ambitious and growing business is really important to me. I love that I get to contribute to that success and achieve. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come, and where we’re headed.

The Grayce Team are some of the most committed, driven and inspiring people I’ve ever worked with and I genuinely enjoy learning from them and sharing my knowledge.

It’s great to have established the marketing function and see my team grow too. We’re bringing lots more talented people into the organisation, and it’s really exciting to have such a diverse and capable team backing Grayce.

For me though, the 'Why Grayce?' really comes down to our values: we care, we deliver excellence, we succeed together. We stand by them and strive to work with them in mind every day.

The values are woven through every part of the business, from recruitment to operations. And they influence how we communicate externally from the Marketing team. Everyone who wants to join Team Grayce must demonstrate commitment and synergy with our values. We find that they make our team more cohesive and collaborative – and it helps drive and improve performance if we’re achieving high standards, together.

A real highlight in my Grayce journey was seeing these values embodied when the whole Grayce Community came together recently at our Annual Conference. It was a really inspiring day where our Analysts and HQ team celebrated achievements and shared their ideas and experiences. Our commitment to our values has ensured that we've been able to grow Grayce quickly, whilst ensuring everyone in our Community has the Grayce DNA. Looking out at the full room that was buzzing with energy, I knew I was seeing our values brought to life.

I’m looking forward to continuing to support the growth and success of Grayce. We’ve got exciting plans for the future, so watch this space!
