Before joining Grayce, I studied Business Studies and Chinese Mandarin at the University of Liverpool with a placement year. During that placement year, I worked as a Project Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company.
My current project sees me working on a vulnerability programme to identify common vulnerabilities from network scans and penetration tests, with the aim of reducing security weaknesses on the IT estate. I am also working closely with the GRC team to develop an information security management system by writing and updating InfoSec policies. Alongside this, I support day-to-day cyber incident handling on my assignment by monitoring security alerts and dealing with phishing escalations.
I’m currently looking to achieve a qualification in Cloud Computing with Azure AZ-900 and I’m keen to start working in cloud security. Alongside this, I’m trying to develop the information security experience required to take the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) qualification.
