I studied for a master’s at the University of Liverpool, where I studied Astrophysics. Throughout my degree, I completed both a semester in China and a semester in industry. I’m currently on my second assignment at Grayce, my first was with a retail organisation where my role saw me streamline codes and complete daily data imports. Outside of my assignment, I have volunteered as a technical coach whilst at Grayce, supporting people throughout a 10 week coding course.
My current assignment is with an organisation in the energy sector. I work as a Data Analyst in the Data Governance team where I have been tasked with reviewing and understanding how each department functions. My role has the ultimate aim of increasing data awareness and exposure across the organisation through platforms like Microsoft Purview.
Whilst at Grayce, I’m keen to achieve qualifications and complete training that will further develop my skills. Some areas I’m particularly interested in are leadership and management qualifications through the Chartered Management Institute, the Certified Data Management Professional course with DAMA, and Power BI. I’m also keen to increase my awareness and understanding of tools I am less familiar with, such as R and GitHub.
