The Challenge
As the oldest member of the Magic Circle law firms, the client needed a secure and robust Information Security programme to ensure their data was protected from malicious attacks. Law firms are high-priority targets, so the client wanted to evaluate security, perform regular security audits, and respond to alerts of potential threats.
The Solution
Working with the CISO, we understood that the InfoSec team needed to expand to cover both internal and external risk management, and that they were looking for capable people with a willingness to learn. We started a pilot of three InfoSec Analysts, across Manchester and London, for an initial three-month period before expanding the team with additional Analysts.
The Result
Our InfoSec team perform security audits in line with ISO270001, manage internal and external activity trackers, and create communications packs and training guides to educate on the importance of Information Security and Risk Management. A number of our Analysts have been able to transition to the client permanently and help build their long-term capability in this area.
