Grayce Analyst, Daniel Beardmore shares his Grayce journey and how he’s making a difference in his client role.
What does working for Grayce involve?
Most of an Analyst’s time is spent on client site, working in roles that range from PMO to Business Analysis. Grayce’s clients include many FTSE 100 and 250 organisations. Grayce analysts have the choice of the region that they will live and work in, with lots of locations across the UK.
Clients trust the capability that Grayce Analysts bring to their organisations. From the outset, I was given significant responsibility within the team. Creating a new dashboard in my first week and changing the reporting structure in my second week!
The roles are challenging and there is a lot to learn, but the rewards and knowledge gained from this exposure is second to none. Grayce is undergoing rapid expansion. This provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to shaping the direction of the company.
The training on the Grayce Development Programme starts at on-boarding. Within the first 12 weeks of joining the company, I had completed the APM Fundamentals qualification. New Analysts also obtain the BCS Business Analysis Qualification. Both courses are widely recognised and highly regarded qualifications.
By the end of the first year, you can expect to have completed PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualifications. Then Leadership and Management training at the beginning of the second year. The training modules provoked much thought around my ways of working. It highlighted clever ways of thinking and operating, which have significantly benefited me in work and social environments.
Each Analyst also has access to a training budget in their second and third years to tailor their development and choose the courses that best suit their career aspirations. Grayce has great connections in the Change and Consulting industries and Analysts are able to use these connections to plan the next steps in their careers.
What have I gained since working at Grayce?
Grayce has provided me with exposure to industry leading clients allowing me to develop my capabilities and skills whilst building my professional network. It has also supported me in completing industry recognised qualifications, both of which have provided exceptional grounding at the early stages of my career.
Furthermore, since joining Grayce I have developed much more self-confidence. Now, I have the confidence in my ability to know that my deliverables surpass the standards which are expected.
