As Head of Learning and Development, you will be responsible for managing training and development across our organisation and Development Programmes. This is a pivotal role; our Development Programmes are market-leading and central to our business propositions and company culture.

The role will involve championing a culture of continuous learning in our organisation, evolving our Development Programmes and building a team of credible Learning and Development professionals. The role can be broken down into four pillars, Learning and Development, Knowledge Management, Coaching & Mentoring and Team Building and Management.

What you’ll do 

  • Taking ownership and overall accountability for Grayce Development programmes’ growth and success (Change+, Data+, Tech+ and HQ Programmes).
  • Designing and delivering onboarding programmes, ensuring all new starters are effectively onboarded into the organisation.
  • Evolving existing development programmes and building new development programmes in line with strategic business growth plans.
  • Managing and overseeing Third Party training relationships, including the procurement of training interventions, licences, exams and manuals.
  • Managing the Learning and Development Budget, with the support of Finance.
  • Working with the Business Development and Marketing teams to develop tailored training solutions and bespoke sales collateral.
  • Championing knowledge management initiatives, including Communities of Practice.
  • Promoting informal learning and development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Working closely with Resource Managers to conduct skills need analysis, confirming how development needs can be addressed (Delivery Management coaching, internal/external mentoring sessions, formal training).
  • Coordinating internal mentoring across all levels of the Development Programmes.
  • Build a team of credible learning and development professionals.
  • Day to day management of the team.

What you need

  • Demonstrable experience in developing learning and development programs in the data, change and tech arenas.
  • Previous experience in building L&D teams.
  • Strong market knowledge of the data, tech and change environments with the commercial awareness to be able to evolve programmes in line with the market need.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to have credible conversations with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
