Grayce’s inaugural Datathon!

Grayce hosted its first ever Datathon on Saturday 9th October. Our Data+ Analysts got together for the day to help nominated charity Coffee4Craig better understand the data points they had to improve engagement across their communications channels.

Coffee4Craig is a homelessness provision that is open every single evening in Manchester. The team provide home-cooked meals, access to a medic, a shower, advice and sign posting, a barbering service and most importantly a team of friendly, compassionate faces to support the people who use the provision.

Grayce has worked with Coffee4Craig for a while, helping with fundraising and volunteer projects too. As a hands on support service for the homeless, Coffee4Craig wanted to increase awareness of their service and increase engagement across their social media channels to support fundraising.

Our Data+ Analysts spent the day working with Coffee4Craig’s and put their analytical skills to the test analysing their social and analytics data. The aim was to create actionable insights that would help Coffee4Craig increase their awareness and increase engagement. Data+ Analysts competed in teams with each other to find the best solutions that could be used by the charity to really make a difference.

Well done to Data+ Analysts who took part, we can’t wait to see what you achieve next year!
